A video presentation about International Connections Academy (iNaCA) created using screen captures of PowerPoint slides and animations combined with video footage and voice over audio.

Every year, Connections Academy (CA) and iNaCA conduct a variety of information sessions, online and in person, for prospective families and students to learn more about CA and iNaCA’s online education program. In 2015, the AV team also produced an on-demand video version of the CA info-session for any families or students who could not attend one of the in person or online sessions. Shortly after releasing the CA on demand video, there was a desire to release a version specifically for iNaCA. (CA is a K-12 online public school offered in 29 states. iNaCA is a private school alternative for those living abroad or outside of the 29 states offering CA.) Due to talent and other scheduling conflicts, it was going to take the AV team 2-3 months in order to complete the new video. I was asked to create a temporary solution using PowerPoint and screen capture video editing software to output a video presentation with voice over until the AV team could produce the official video.

CE provides virtual education solutions for students in K-12. CA and iNaCA are divisions of CE.
